One of our own is heading back to Bangkok this June — and we couldn’t be more proud.
We love a good Travis update here at Corefit UK, and this one’s a big one. He’s already won two World Gold Medals representing Team England — first in Bangkok, then in Verona — and this June he’s heading back to do it all over again.
Travis will be competing at the Amazing Muay Thai World Festival 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand (June 25–29). It’ll be his third time on the world stage, and as always, his preparation has been going on right here at the gym in Sutton Coldfield.

A World-Class Journey
Travis has been coming through the doors at Corefit UK since he was five years old. He’s grown up in this gym, and under the guidance of Head Coach Henry Cleminson, he’s quietly become one of the best junior Muay Thai fighters in the country.
Henry has worked with some well-known names over the years — including Leon Edwards on his way to the UFC World Championship and Che Bradley to UK number 1. That same attention to detail and high standards have gone into Travis’s training since day one.
“Travis has been here since he was five years old. Watching him grow into an international champion is everything this gym is about.”

The Dedication Behind the Gold
It’s worth mentioning that these trips are entirely self-funded — travel, accommodation, competition fees, the lot. It takes a real commitment from Travis and his family to make these campaigns happen, and that’s something we think deserves recognition.
The World Festival is a serious competition. Travis is up against kids from all over the world, so the preparation has to match. That means plenty of hours on the pads with Coach Henry, working on technique, sharpening combinations, and making sure he’s in the best possible shape come fight day.
If you’ve seen Travis training here, you’ll know how focused he is. His timing and composure are well beyond his years — and that’s no accident. It’s the result of eight years of consistent, quality coaching in the right environment.
Support a World Champion
in the Making
Travis’s trip to Bangkok is self-funded, so if you or your business would like to show some support, we’d love to hear from you. Any help goes a long way for a young lad competing at this level.
Get In Touch Kids ClassesInspiring the Next Generation
Travis is a great example of what can happen when a kid sticks at something and has the right people around them. Our Kids Martial Arts programme here in Sutton Coldfield is open to children aged 3 to 15 years old, and we have classes running throughout the week to suit all levels — whether your little one has never thrown a punch or is already looking to compete.
If your child is keen to give it a go, come and see us. You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to turn up and learn.
We’ll be cheering Travis on every step of the way this June. Come on, Travis — bring that Gold home!
