Bodyweight Training

Bodyweight training is exactly what it says on the tin. There is no better way of working out than just using the weight of your own body against gravity.

The foundations of any effective functional training program starts with bodyweight training.

Bodyweight exercises are essential and explosive. There are numerous variations of bodyweight exercises, and with Corefit UK instructors you will get varied exercises along with encouraging motivation.

Types of exercises 

  • Push ups 

  • Planking 

  • Sit ups 

  • Squats 

  • Lunges


All of theses exercises can be adjusted to make them more challenging or, if needs be, they can be made easier depending on the person. 


As with most of our classes, the Bodyweight exercises are done to time, applying the HIIT method (High Intensity Interval Training) to increase the difficulty.
