TRX Suspension Trainer at our Gym in Sutton Coldfield
TRX training also known as suspension training or resistance training is an approach to fitness training that uses a system of ropes and webbing called a "suspension trainer" to allow the user to work against their own body weight.
TRX training is rapidly becoming a must have for all trainers, and you may have seen it on TV being used by the stars and their personal trainers.
CorefitUK are fully trained in the use of the TRX training equipment and we utilise TRX in our weekly Circuit Training classes as well as in our Personal training programs, Specific conditioning and Strength conditioning. We also run group TRX classes.
Resistance training or TRX training is nothing new in fact since the dawn of strength training men and woman have used ropes to increase there exercise options. However the use of TRX equipment and the TRX suspension training bodyweight exercises was developed in the 90's by Randy Hetrick a former Navy seal and marketed from 2005 onwards. The navy seals would need to keep fit and have limited space to perform excercises so the use of ropes and bands for resistance training was a requirement.
The TRX equipment is a highly functional and versatile piece of kit and is perfect for improving:
- strength
- endurance
- core stability
- muscle tone
- superior muscular balance
- joint stability
- mobility
- posture
- injury prevention
The TRX system has become an integral part of our rehabilitation and injury prevention programs this season. A total body, functional training tool that is enjoyable to use yet very physically demanding.
A must for all Sports Physiotherapists.
“During our time working together Henry provided new and innovative ways to train the players.
His methods were both effective but also enjoyable. I would recommend the class to people of all fitness levels”
